Holi has a harsh impact on your skin and hair so it is very important to take skincare and hair care. Various synthetic colors are available in the market, packed with chemicals in them. These synthetic colors would badly damage your hair and skin. It would be better to protect your hair and skin.
Colours used would dehydrate your skin. Try to keep yourself hydrated one week prior. Consume coconut water, juices, also drink plenty of water and eat fruits.

- Keep your skin hydrated, one day before holi, massage your body with good body oil ( coconut oil) . This moisturize your skin and create a barrier between your skin and harmful colours. If you do not want to use oil, use a good moisturizer.
- Do not exfoliate you skin at least a week before Holi because it opens up your pores which can lead to Holi colours penetrating deep into your skin.
- Protect your hair tie them into a ponytail, so your hair does not get tangled.
- Protect your nails by applying a transparent nail polish on your nails before going out to play Holi.
- Do not miss out on sunscreen ,the most important thing when going out in the sun is wearing sunscreen. Use a sunscreen SPF 50 ,water resistant take a considerable amount of sunscreen apply on your face and body.
- Cover yourself properly wear clothes that cover your entire body because a physical barrier provides the best protection from UV rays.
